    Imposing page width (FP2000, SR-1)

    Hi;

    I am working on a new theme for our site and would like to impose a page width of 760 pixels. There seems to be no way to do this, as the shared left and right borders always stretch the page to fit the browser window.

    What I would like is for the body and left/right shared borders to all stay within 760 pixels. I even tried putting the body into a table that gave plenty of space for borders, but they STILL stretch to fit the browser window.

    Help? <img src=/S/brickwall.gif border=0 alt=brickwall width=25 height=15>

    Can you lose the shared borders and use the INCLUDE command instead? I don't care for the FrontPage way of doing shared borders, myself - includes are a bit easier to work with and load faster (IMHO).

    I don't know of any way to limit the shared borders - if there is, it's well hidden.

    Cool, that works! I wouldn't have thought of that...and the nice thing is, by including _borders/left.htm in the left column, I still get the left nav bar. <img src=/S/clapping.gif border=0 alt=clapping width=19 height=23>

    Thanks!
