    zip folders in Win/temp

I have a growing number of folders in my windows/temp directory that have been named ZIPC1C3, ZIP83B1, etc. Most have only one file inside and there are several repeats. Are these leftover pieces of aborted installs or what? The properties are not fully visible even on executables so I cannot tell the source, though some seem to relate to PageManager which is a program I could not get to work properly after several attempts to install/uninstall.

Any definitive guide to what files are safe to delete in the Windows/TEMP directory that might help me?

    Thanks,
    Kelly

PC Magazine's HDValet will safely delete a wide range of junk files. I've used it for several years without any problems. Find it at http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/3000-2248-10059058.html
