    Background Color (Outlook 2000/SR-1)

    Something in Outlook 2000 changed. I have always set my calendar

    I have experienced this too. I found this article on the Microsoft Knowledge Base but as yet I haven't tried any other color schemes.

    After searching MS knowledge base with no helpful results, I believe I have discovered that the portion of the calendar under the daily column is always gray, see attachment (it isn

    On my Outlook, the grey area corresponds to the time I am not in the office. Go to tools,Options, Calendar Options, and look at the Start and End times.

    You were absolutely correct. I even knew about that at one time but didn't think to even look at it when I was experimenting with the colors. Oh well, they say the mind is the first thing to go!!

    I really do appreciate your help but I still have no idea how things got changed because I am basically the only one to use this computer. These machines, if nothing else, keep your brain working.
