    Japanese character display (IE 5.5/Win2000)

I need to setup a user with access to Japanese web sites so IE has to be able to display Japanese characters. The user must not be able to save file names with Japanese characters, as this causes serious problems with our Novell network. I've looked at M/S IME but that only works with Office XP or 2000.

Any pointers will be gratefully accepted.

    TIA.

Re: Japanese character display (IE 5.5/Win2000)

This problem has risen its hoary head again!!

I did find version 4.? of IME but this will not load with Win2K! Would IE6 be of any help? I can't find details of the difference between 5.5 and 6.

    TIA, I hope! <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
