    Multiple dial-ups

    Hi all!

Friend of mine has Outlook Express and uses it to download mail from at least 3 ISPs. He'd like to keep all three. At the moment, when he downloads, OE dials and downloads from each ISP in turn, keeping the connection to the final ISP open once the download is done.

    Questions:
    1) He'd like the final ISP connection to be disconnected once the download is complete. Can this be done?
    2) He'd like a particular ISP to be the default for sending mail. Is this possible?
    3) Can he control the order in which the ISPs are dialled.

Not sure of the OE version he's using, but he can upgrade to latest if necessary.

    Any help would be appreciated.

On the connection tab of the EACH account, use the same login account that one wants to use.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

    Re: Multiple dial-ups

    1) To log off after receiving/sending in OE choose ToolsOptionsConnections and select 'hang up after..'
    2) To make a particular ISP your default, In OE click ToolsAccounts, then highlight the one you want and click 'set as default' from the right-hand column.
