    Connection to Access Database (97)

I want to select a record from a table in Access (97) and input the value into the Outlook (97) form that I have set up. I know that this can be done using ADO in Access and Outlook 2000. Once I attach to the database, I do not think I will have any problem. Does anyone have any sample VB script to do this in (97)? Can CDO be used to accomplish this?

There's something like what you're looking for on Helen Feddema's site here which works with Outlook <big>98</big>; which may give you a start. OTOH, I'm not sure that the script capabilties of Outlook 97 actually would enable you to do what you're attempting. HTH

The code in the Feddema site didn't quite work, but we were able to tinker with it and get the functionality shortly. Many thanks to unkamunka for the advice, and to Woody for your site, which has helped me out of count 'em three sticky situations. Here's hoping that I can get good enough to help others.
