    Top Ten Subtotals (Office 97)

    Hi All
    I have worksheet with 400 customer with sales over 5 years I have created subtotals, but now I would like to filter the top ten subtotal values.

    Can anyone help please

    Did you use the Data, Subtotals feature to do this? If so, select the entire table including Grand Totals if any, Group at the Customer level, then Sort Descending on the appropriate field. (Autofilter does not work correctly to give a Top Ten, as it will include the individual data as well as the subtotals.) So then you can hide the non-top ten, and there's your list.
