Frequent Crashes (XP with SP1 applied)

    Hi,

    One of our members writes:
"Outlook crashes on average about once every 10 minutes of actual work in Outlook (it does not happen when Outlook is just idling in the background). There is no way to predict when it happens. Sometimes it happens when I am composing a message, in which case the message is lost and I have to start over. Because of this, I have started composing my
important messages in Notepad, and pasting them into an Outlook e-mail message when it is all finished.

The error message I get says that Outlook has encountered a problem and has to close. There is always an option given to send an error report to Microsoft, which I have done about a hundred times. There is a lot of information in the error report. The attached document gives the first couple of screens worth (I think there are over 40 screens worth of information altogether, most of which is repetitive.

Can you help me with this problem? If it cannot be solved, I will have to switch to some other e-mail program."

Any ideas? SP1 applied and not using Word as mail editor.

    TIA for your assistance

    Bob wahlen

Who is your ISP for your internet access?

You must have the correct settings in your email account to reflect your internet connection.
