    Framed Address (97 or 2000)

I'd like to put a border around an address of variable line number and length in a report. I'd very much appreciate any suggestions.

    regards, Andy

    Is it a single field?

If it is, then just set the CanGrow and CanShrink Properties of the field to true and then give it a border. The border will resize with the control.

If it is multiple fields, all I can offer is a WAG.

Put a box (rectangle) around the fields, making sure to entirely enclose all the fields. Then as you manipulate the fields, manipulate the box's size.

Don't know if it will work, but it may work.

Thanks to Bryan and Peter for your posts. The thread that Peter linked to was especially helpful. It should do the trick.

    regards, Andy
