    Folders

I am on a LAN, running Windows 2000. The LAN is set-up to push things our way
as needed/directed by our IT Guru. I take great pains to make my folders uniform
in appearance (small icon / "List" view / arranged by name). However, the settings
don't stay and I haven't figured out what causes them to change. Is is the fact that
I turn it off, or, that something is being "pushed", or is it some strange empirical
force ??? I'd like to set-it-and-forget-it (sounds kinda Ron Popeil), any thoughts ?

I don't know if this will help, but take a look through this thread on the XP board and see if anything there applies.

You did NOT state as what is being pushed to your system, but if there are being some OS updates, yes this MAY affect your settings. But first check out the link provided in the other reply.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
