How to quote in a reply?

I'm sure it's a dumb question. Maybe I'm real tired when I visit, but I cannot find an option to quote someone in a reply.

Not that I would quote the entire message... I know that would be bad. But I've seen some folks quote a bit of a message with lines around it. Did they do that manually or am I missing where that tool is.

    Btw, love the site!!

Check out Help and select #19 Markup and you will see that <!t>[qoute]<!/t>whaterver<!t>[/quote]<!/t> will do the job, or simply use the 1-click TagPanel and click <IMG SRC=http://www.wopr.com/w3timages/quote.gif>

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

You have to copy and paste anything you want from an earlier message. It appears below the editing window. (Maybe this is obvious to everyone but me, but I set this box to take up about 2/3 of the height of the screen.)
