Uppercase Text Box Input (A2K SR1)

I used the format ">" property of a text box to make the input of users appear all upper case, but in reality, it is still stored in lower case if the actual input is lower case. How would I make the actual input as upper case irrespective of the input case used by the users? Do I have to use UCASE() to convert the case of each of the text box that I need? Please help.

    Yes you do.

Use an after update event for each text box.

    me!txtsomething = ucase(me!txtsomething)

An alternative would be to periodically run an update query that went through and converted all records in a table

You need to use the ">" symbol in the textbox's input mask property. For example. The input mask for State would be ">LL". The transforms each character to uppercase as it is enterred, and that is what is stored in table.
