    Draw Curly Brackets? (XP)

    Hi,

How can one draw curly brackets using Word?

These are needed with drawings sometimes.

    Thanks,

    m.q.

You can create a text box, set a large font size and type a curly bracket in it, and finally move the text box to where you want it.

You can also create brackets in the equation editor.

On the Drawing toolbar (usually at the bottom of Word) choose Auto Shapes> Basic Shapes and your curly brackets are there. You can resize them, make them thinner or thicker... I've found it very useful when grouped with a graphic and a text box.
    hope that helps
    have fun
