How do I set the option for "Word Wrap" in Word 2000.

    Thanks

Pardon? Word is a word processor, not a text editor like Notepad. It automatically wraps to the next line, and you can't turn that off.

If you mean automatic hyphenation (breaking a long word if it's at the end of a line), that is controlled by a combination of settings:

Tools/Language/Hyphenation... (general setting)

A style can turn of automatic hyphenation

You can turn off automatic hyphenation for individual paragraphs in Format/Paragraph...[/list]

Word doesn't have a "wrap text" option like Notepad or Wordpad.
When you save a document as a text file, you can select Text File or Text File with Line Breaks. In the first case, a paragraph in Word will be saved as one line in the text file. In the latter case, each line as displayed on screen will be a line in the text file.

You're probably aware that you can Left, Right, Center, or Full justify text in Word, also. Place you cursor in a sentence or paragraph and either press the appropriate toolbar button or select Format, Paragraph, Alignment.
