    close-button on report-preview (acc97/2k)

I have a database running on several computers.
When I make a printpreview of a report (through a command button) i get
diffrent results on the several computers.
    What do I mean :
On some of the computers I can see the Close-button, on others I can see it.

Is there a possibility to force on open a report to always get the
    Close-button?

    Thanx

Create a custom menubar or toolbar with the close command on it and set the report's Menubar or Toolbar property to that commandbar. Then it will show up when you open the report and disappear when you close it. If you're distributing a runtime app, you'll need to add specific code to the report's open and close events to show or hide the toolbar rather than relying on its properties to do it.

    Charlotte,
in my model i am working with a preview without any command or menubar. Is your solution then also possible? Could you give me some more tips because i have no experience with creating toolbars.

Note: the fastest way to close a report in print preview mode is to hit the Esc key on the keyboard.

To create a custom tool bar for a report:
[list=1]<LI>Open the database (custom toolbars in Access are saved in the current database). If it has startup options set, keep the Shift key down until the database window is displayed.
<LI>Right click the menu bar or any tool bar.
    <LI>Select Customize
