Default # of copies (2000 SR1)

One of our users is experiencing an unusual problem: the default number of copies for printing is always coming up as 2 and she is always having to reset this to 1 before she prints. I've never seen this sort of behaviour before.

Try right-clicking on the printer and selecting Document Defaults. Look through those tabs and see if there is a default number of copies that the user can set. On my HP8000 printer, the setting is under the Basic tab, but I'm sure it's different for each printer.

    I hope this helps!

Thanks, that happened to be the exact fix that was needed.

More of a Windows problem than a Word problem, but since Word is pretty much the only program that she ever prints from it was the most likely suspect. This does however beg the question of who would change the system default number of copies instead of changing it from Word's print option interface, but I doubt I'll ever find that tidbit out.
