    Tracking option (Outlook 2000)

I want to automatically delete (without reading) read receipt requests and yet keep the
tracking option from a sent mail.
I have tried all variations in e-mail tracking options and yet the read receipt needs to be
opened before going to my deleted items.
Do I need to set up a rules wizard in addition ?

Using the Ruls Wizard is the easiest way for you to do this

tools | options, email button . look for tracking options and turn on autoprocessing and set the move/delete option. Once they are processed, they should delete themselves. Don't use rules, they'll delete before processing.
