Outlook ignores 'prompt for a profile' setting (2000 SR-1)

    Hi

I've got Outlook 2000 set up to prompt me for a profile to use when I open the application. Most times this seems to work fine. However, sometimes it does not - this seems to happen if I am using my main email account (Account A) for a period, then close down Outlook and re-open so's I can access Account B. Has anyone come across this before? Is there anything I should be doing?

Any and all help gratefully received.

when you close outlook you either are reopening too fast (wait about a minute or so, maybe longer if you have a large pst), before it has completely shut down or something (sync software, WF etc) is keeping it open. Do a control-alt-del and see if it's still running 5 min after you close it.
