    Using Charts (Excel 2000)

Attached is a worksheet with data and a chart. I have 2 rows of data in which I want to capture one row inside of another. In the example attached, I want to show that we have 402 responses in our system for July and out of those, 333 are new. The chart is adding these numbers together instead of making the total stop at 402. Can anyone suggest how I can stop this from happening and reflect the correct totals?

Stacked bars add the 2 together.
Setup a row of NEW and a row of OLD (labeled total if desired) [=total -new] and plot those 2 to get the stacked bar correct.
