Importing CAD data into PowerPoint (Office 97)

I need to import about 200 CAD drawings into a power point presentation. I can output from CAD into dwg, dxf, iges, and a couple of other obscure file types. I tried dxf since Power Point lists that as an option but it fails when trying to import the file. Any ideas anyone. As an alternative, can I convert the CAD files to another format? Anyone know of a converter that does this? Thanks

I think you will need to go the converter route - PPT 2000/2002 don't list any of the formats. Unfortunately none of the MS standard graphics packages appear to support any of the formats you have available. I suspect it may require a converson utility from the CAD world, but maybe somebody else can come up with a graphics utility that will do the trick.
