Check Names not seeing Contacts (Outlook 2000 SR-1)

I am running Outlook 2000 in a win98 environment with exchange. We recently converted from Groupwise, and my contacts were converted from a Groupwise Address Book. When I type a name that is in my contacts list into the "To" field of a message, Outlook does not automatically find the name. In addition, if I click the Check Names button, it does not find the name, and the check names dialog comes up. To get to the contact name, I have to select show more names, and then manually choose the contacts folder to select the contact to whom I would like to send the email. How do I fix this? <img src=/S/hmmn.gif border=0 alt=hmmn width=15 height=15>

Go to Tools-Services and click on the Addressing tab. Under "When sending mail, check names using these address lists in the following order:" click on Add and select Contacts.

That should be all you need to do.

    Hope this helps,
    Becky
