    ADO/ VB6/Access 97...Runtime Error...URGENT (Access 97/VB6)

    Hi All,
I have a VB program and I am using ADO, database is Access 97. For about a year application was running just fine. Yesterday I modified a form and I started getting

    Runtime Error 2147467259(80004005)
Data provider or other service returned an E-FAIL Status.

I am able to log in and as soon as I try to run a query or something it gives me this error.
Any help is appreciated in advance.
Somebody please respond to this urgently.
    Thanks
    Isha

Is the .mdb on a mapped network folder? If so, are you certain the drive/share is accessible?

No the .mdb was on my C: and I replaced the .mdb with a new one and it started working. It seems this problem happens in 2 cases because there is bug in the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Jet version 3.51. Accidently one of the fields changed to memo and it started giving the error. For more detail on this you can go to
    Memo field in Access:

    Thanks anyway
