    Error reports (XP Home)

Can this annoying feature be disabled? If so, how? Any suggestions on how welcomed.

Yes. Right click 'My Computer'. Select Properties. Click on the 'Advanced' tab. Click on the 'Error reporting' button in the lower right. Click the 'Disable error reporting' radio button. Then 'OK' your way out. That should do it.

But how is MS to know about these problems?

Some people will complain when things do not work but will not report them, but it is still MS's fault that it does not work <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Will, I'd like to invite you to look at a write up I posted on my website that explains some pros and cons and has screen shots to help.

Joe and Mark, thanks for the advice.

Helping out MS without charge or thanks as many times in the working day as it takes is a pleasure for me, rest assured.

    Will
