    RegClean

Periodically I run Microsoft's RegClean. Literally every time it finds the following two "errors" and corrects them. I can run the program a minute later and it again finds them. Any idea why these should be ongoing "errors"?

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARECLASSESQKFilter.ScreenDi splayCurVer]
    @="{B0CE4CE4-48D7-11D2-8BC3-00C04F86A9E1}"

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARECLASSESScreenDisplayProp erties.ScreenDisplayPropertiesCurVer]
    @="{B0C04CE4-48D7-11D2-8BC3-00C04F86A9E1}"

    Howdy DenGar,
I'm just shootin' in the dark here but, are you running any version of Quicken?? The " QKFilter.ScreenDisplayCurVer]"
reference could be about a filter for the screen display in the current version (yours) of Quicken.

    Doc,

No Quicken installed on my computer. Thanks, though.

    Re: RegClean

I've noticed the same strange behavior with RegClean sometimes, too. I just delete the Registry restore files that RegClean generates and move on to the next crisis!
