Confusion with Versions of Windows and Office (Office 97/ Office 2002)

I hope that I am posting this in the correct location.
Question 1: Is Office XP the same thing as Office 2002?

Question 2: Was XP supposed to be the NT version of Windows?

Question 3: All of my users have Windows 2000 with either Office 2000 or Office 2002. My server still has Windows NT 4.0 with Office 97. Can I put Office 2002 on a Windows NT Server and still function correctly or would I be better off with SQL Server or something else?

I have been looking on the microsoft site for answers and seem to be doing nothing but making myself crazy. Any thoughts anyone has are very much appreciated.

    (1) Yes.
    Office XP = Office 2002 = Office 10
    Office 2000 = Office 9
    Office 97 = Office 8
    (sounds logical, doesn't it?)

    (2) Windows 2000 Server is the successor to Windows NT Server as server operating system. Windows XP is a desktop operating system (others will correct me if I blunder here)

    (3) Office XP doesn't work on Windows 3.x or Windows 95. It should work on Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me), Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 6 (SP6) or later, Windows 2000, or Windows XP or later. Systems running Windows NT 4.0 SP6 must have Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 SP1 or later. Memory requirements vary. See here and look up System requirements.

I have this vague memory that Microsoft don't support excel and powerpoint on Servers. But I could be mistaken and I can't find it in writing anywhere.
