    Word Table (Office 2000)

After creating a table in a Office 2000 document (with five columns), I want to protect just one column of the table. How do I do this?

    Hi Jackie:
Unfortunately, I don't think so. You would have to insert an Excel table as an object & then protect cells in the Excel worksheet. But to edit the table, you would double-click the object & edit it in Excel. That was the conclusion we came to in this thread.
