Downloader

I'm looking for a download manager that can extract all files of a given type (e.g. *.ram) from a web page and save them into a pre-determined folder on my HDD. I had one on trial some time ago, but the name escapes me at the moment.

All I want to do is input the URL (http) and point to where they are to go, click on 'Download' or something equally obvious and return to my machine in half an hour to find all the files neatly stored on my drive.

Anyone?

Do you know if any of these web site downloaders can measure the size of the overall download BEFORE you download it? I made the stupid mistake of trying to download the Word MVP site (good thing I didn't try downloading the KB). <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Sorry - no idea.
But if you ever find yourself downloading more than you bargained for, you can always resort to
Switching off the Internet

Sounds like FreshDownload might meet the bill. It's part of a freeware trilogy from Fresh Devices.
