Out of Office Assistant (Outlook 2002)

I haven't been able to find anything about the Out of Office Assistant in Outlook 2002. I have a user who's getting multiple messages sent out when he uses the Out of Office Assistant; the current message and then any previous messages he had before. This happens even though he deletes the old text and creates new. I know we had this problem in earlier versions of Outlook and we had the solution but somehow in the process of switching call tracking systems, the answer has disappeared. Help!
    TIA,

Re: Out of Office Assistant (Outlook 2002)

We had the same problem in Outlook 97 on our network. Don't know if this applies, but usually if the user deleted any message from his Out of Office set up, closed out Outlook for a minute or two, then re-opened and re-set up his message, it would usually fix the problem. As a test, the user set up his Out of Office and turned it on, then sent himself a message to see if truly only one message would then be sent. Good luck!

    Cheers!
