    Access runtime (2000/2002)

Is there a runtime version of Access in Office XP Small Business or Standard? I have a customer I developed an Access 2000 database for and they can't use it right now because I did see a runtime version on their computer. I think the Office 2000 SB and Standard comes with this but the people that need to use it are on Office XP. If it's not included, can I download it from somewhere? I really don't want to tell my customer they need to buy Access XP just to use this database.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

The license to distribute the runtime and the runtime files needed are only available with the developers edition of Office or with VB Pro and above. Other Office versions do not include the redistributable runtime files or the license to distribute them.

Thanks Charlotte. I must have been dreaming when I thought I say Access 2000 on a SB or Standard install.

Isn't Access included in the SBE? I thought it was. <img src=/S/scratch.gif border=0 alt=scratch width=25 height=29> If you build an app in 2000, it should run in 2002.

The Small Business Edition is (or was) Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook plus some tidbits; no PowerPoint or Access.
