    I haven't done much in Access, but do you get a dialog that allows you to click Debug and tell us what the highlighted line of code is? One would think it references a nonexistent object (perhaps just a typo).

    First of all, F5 doesn't go to the next step, it goes back to continuously running the code. F8 is the key to step through code. If you use F8, you'll be able to see exactly where the code is breaking. It may not even be in that routine.

    'Object Required' might mean you're trying to assign an object to a variable without using the Set keyword. Post the code. Otherwise, everything we suggest is pure guesswork.
