MS Money 2k Version 8.0

I have been using this software since I got this computer 3 yrs. ago. My hard drive recently crashed ( ) and I bought a new one and had it installed. Money seems to work as it always did until I got to a spot where I had an investment which I sold and bought something else. I have tried to make the change but the program keeps telling me I'm going to run the fund balance into negative territory. I've checked the status of the fund I'm selling and the number of shares is correct and it is the amount I am trying to sell. Anyone have the same problem or can give me some advice? Thanx!!! Russ

Edited by WyllyWylly to add URL code. See the Quick Guide.[/i]

Your data file could be corrupted. Visit http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release...h&ordinal=7 and download the Money 2000 Super Salvage utility. I've run into similar problems and this utility has corrected errors to my Money data file. Of course, you should back up your data file first. Good luck!
