Clear the 'To:' field (Outlook XP)

When typing an address in the "To:" field in Outlook XP, a drop down list appears after typing the third character of the address, filled with all of the addresses that have ever been typed that began with that same 3-letter-string that I've typed. How does one go about clearing out the entries that pop up automatically in that drop down list in the "To:" field in Outlook XP?

As soon as the drop-down box appears, use the down arrow to select an unwanted name, then hit Delete....
