    Extra parameters in the Sort Function (Office XP)

    I recorded a simple macro in Excel XP which included a couple of sorts.
    Passed this on to a colleague who was unable to run the macro using Excel 97.

    It emerged that Excel XP had included the extra parameter
    <DataOption1:=xlSortNormal>
    in sort function. With this parameter removed the macro worked in both XP
    and 97.

    I would be pleased if someone could warn me of any other "Gotchers"
    of this sort waiting for the unwary.
    Are "extras" that cause lack of backwards compatibily listed anywhere?
