Inserting a graphic in a header or footer (2002 SP1)

I have a template with defined header / footer fields. I want to be able to add a picture frame into this template, so that a user can choose a graphic for insertion on all pages of the document through the use of a UserForm and the File/Open dialogue.

All I need to know is how I refer to the picture frame in the template?
