Windows Media Player in context (V2002 Pro)

Currently I have Wav Files set to play with Winamp. When I right click on a Wav file the context menu offers me three choices related to Windows Media Player:

    Copy to Audio CD
    Add to Playlist
    Play with Media Player

Is it possible to remove these choices from the context menu? Is it possible to uninstall Windows Media Player? Is there any kind of control over context menus? Does anyone know of a context menu editor that works with XP? I can edit File types but all the menu options don't always seem to appear there - the three above being a case in point. I don't mind having a go at editing the registry but I've no idea where to look. Any pointers?

    Chris,

    Does this link help? http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article02-026

I have a context menu editor around here someplace....if I can locate it, I will post a link to download that as well. I seem to recall that it's not exactly easy on the eyes but it got the job done.

Thanks for the link, Mark. It seems relatively straightforward to add new actions and remove them. The problem is there seem to be some hidden default actions and I can't find them to remove them. If you find that link for the context editor that would be great.

    All the best,

    Chris

Aha! Found it: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,9879,00.asp I believe you may have to register but it's well worth it to do so.
