ComputeStatistics

I've noticed that under Word97/Windows NT4 that the ComputeStatistics(wdStatisticLines) range method returns an incorrect line count for TrueType fonts, but is correct for monospaced fonts. It seems to have been fixed for Word2000. Does anyone know of a patch for Word97, or of another method to efficiently return the number of Word lines in a range?
Thanks for any help.

Re: ComputeStatistics

Well, I answered this myself. This is a confirmed (by MS)bug in the algorithm that calculates lines in a range. And it's not limited to just ComputeStatistics, but even in WordBasic functions that perform similar tasks.
The bug is fixed for Word 2000, so no patch will be issued for prior revs. So, to get it fixed, you need to "upgrade" to Word2K.
