Outlook (mail) Toolbar in Word (O2000 SR-1)

With Word (HTML format) set as default editor in Outlook, does anyone know how to customize the mail toolbar that has "Send" on the left and ends with "From" on the right?

I don't think it's a toolbar actually. I think it's a form. I'll believe it is a form called "message", but there are several. Let me see if I can't figure out which form it is using, and where to store an edited version of it so that the edited version opens in place of the existing one.

A form, eh. I think it's MAIL.OFT and it's located in the F:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeTemplates1033 folder. Unfortunately, it does not include the toolbar. I've embedded a screenshot of the toolbal I'd like to customize.

Hi,
I think you can perform some customisations by unchecking the Use Word as Email Editor option, opening a new email, customising the toolbar there and then rechecking the Use Word as Email Editor option. Some customisations don't appear to stick (I guess some may not apply) but many do.
Hope that helps.

Yes, you are correct. The vexing issue is that the toolbar shown above only appears when (a) Word is the editor and ( HTML is selected as the mail format. I cannot seem to locate the form with that toolbar. <img src=/S/brickwall.gif border=0 alt=brickwall width=25 height=15>
