    Print Preview

    Hi,

    W2K SR-1

We have users who have entered text over multiple pages. They "Print Preview" the document to ensure that it's laid out correctly before the print the document.

However, when it's printed, it does not print as show in the preview- there's about 4 lines difference in the print vs print preview.

I had always thought the Print Preview to be a fairly accurate representation of the Print.

    Any thoughts?

You may want to verify that you have the most current printer drivers on that user's machine. Good luck.

    Re: Print Preview

    Ideas for investigation

Are they previewing on the default printer and then switching printers when they actually print?

Are the printers using Postscript? I think that can do odd things sometimes. (and vice-versa).

Is the paper size really the same as the printer is using.

Are the fonts TrueType, Printer or display fonts?

Are the printers inkjets which will not print the full page? If so, and anyway, are you using the right printer drivers?
