Hi Phil,
Thank you very much for your super link to install a spell checker for IE.
I used the IE Context Menu Speller version where you just right click on
highlighted words and it tells you right away if it's correct, and if it's not then
MS WORD opens and lets you correct the highlighted text. Very simple.
By the way, the instruction said it's used with IE 5 but it works with anything
higher then IE 5.
Thanks again for you help.
Hi Ed:
You're quite welcome! Actually, I'm embarassed. I totally forgot about the right click option & I've been selecting & copying text to the clipboard, & then going to my Quick Launch toolbar to run the script.
Hi Phil ~
I thought you might be interested in this spell checker for IE called ieSpell. This may save you from copying, selecting, running and back.
This Lockergnome recommended download lets you check spelling in a blog, on message boards, in mail via the web and anywhere else you may write on the web. You can check your spelling in three different ways:

Select a word and right-click

Click on the IE button in the toolbar

Choose 'Tools' and select 'ieSpell' or ieSpell 'Options'[/list]This app is accurate, fast, and available for all versions of Windows but only Internet Explorer 5.0 higher.
Thanks for thinking of me, Bruce. Have you compared it with anything else? I'm using a .vbs utility that opens Word & checks it, but can't recall right now where I got it. It's a little slow so maybe I'll compare it to this.
Cheers,
You are welcome. No, I have not compared it to anything as I have never really found anything worth trying that wasn't worth the hassle. Let us know what you think.
