    NTFS and DOS (XP Pro)

This just in from the current Fred Langa newsletter, sent in to him by an alert reader (I just love it when Dave Barry says that!)

A utility enabling access to an NTFS partition from a DOS boot disk. Here's the link Fred posted, but it's the top page and you'll have to click the Products Catalog tab at the top of the page to get to the utility freebie. I don't have an NTFS partition to try it out on, so I'll have to say I haven't used it YET.....

Big Al, You may want to check out http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/utilities.shtml. These guys have plenty of free Windows 9x,NT,2K,XP utilities. They are extremely knowledgable about the various NT variants. Some of the utilities are not for the average user or faint of heart. But many are very useful. The NTFS driver also has a shareware version which allows read/write. There is also a very good resources page for anyone who really wants to get in deep.
