    USB keyboard

Will a USB Multimedia keyboard not work with DOS nor the start up functions with Windows 2000 in NTSF mode?

    Re: USB keyboard

In order for the USB keyboard to work outside of Windows, you'll need to get into the BIOS and enable it. By default USB support is disabled in the BIOS. Take a peek and see if youcan find it; I can't be too specific because each manufacturer can customize the BIOS for their product.

    Re: USB keyboard

I found the enable USB keyboard in the BIOS, but the keyboard only works if both the PS2 and the USB are plugged in at the same time. I even went into windows and installed their software, but it hangs before getting into windows.

I may need to buy a normal keyboard for it.

    Re: USB keyboard

I simply returend it and purchased a normal PS2 keyboard. The USB keyboard even on a separate box worked only in W98, but locked up the mouse in W2k.
