    Percentage (Access 2000)

How do you use the percentage field setting? If I have 10% how will I enter it in a table to show as 10% and not as 1000%, I tried 0.1 put that also doesn't work.

    Thanks

    A value of 0.1 should work. Percent means per hundred, so 10% = 10 per 100 = 10/100 = 0.1

But remember that your field must be a Single or Double Precision type Numeric field (or Currency), otherwise you won't be able to enter numbers with decimals. What do you get if you enter 0.1?
