This is more for informational purposes than anything. I am not a music downloader/ripper, in fact most times I have the audio volume down to a minimum or just about audible. I only play a game occasionally, so sound isn't too important to me, when I'm on the computer.
However, I see in various mags and ads for speaker systems that say something like "brand xx 4.1 or 3.1 0r 2.1" speakers. Have I been asleep when this started or what? I have 2 regular speakers and 1 sub-woofer. Does that make my speakers a 2.1 type? Just curious !!!

Long ago, there was a time when men cursed and beat on the ground with sticks. It was called witchcraft.
Today it is called golf!
Thanks Mark, I get a good guess occasionally on my part ! Curiousity satisfied.
