Strikethrough - text format (PP 2000)

Is there a way I can show strikethrough text in Powerpoint? I can't find it within Powerpoint, and I tried copying/pasting from Word, but the text loses the strikethrough when I paste it into PP. Thanks!

It doesn't appear that Strikethrough is supported, even in PPT 2002. About the only option I can suggest would be to actually embed a Word document in your presentation.

I found that you can Edit - Paste Special - Paste as Word Document Object, bringing it in as a picture, but then there was considerable resizing required.
My user decided to simply make the strikethrough text a different color.
    Thanks for your help!

Another solution is to just draw a line manually through the text.

A 2pt. line looked about right with the defalut text size on my monitor.
