    Are you saying you want to download and have the file saved on the client's computer?

    Can't you just place a text box with a hyperlink to the MP3 (wihout actionscript)?

    I think you misunderstood.... I meant that you could use a textbox in the Flash movie. You can set the URL property of the textbox to the location of your MP3 file and the target to _blank (assuming you want the file to open in a new window).

    You can assign the following code to a button:

    on(release) {
    getURL("http://yoursite/yourfile.mp3","_blank")
    }

    The "_blank" again forces a new window. If you want it to open in the same window you can leave that parameter off.

    One thing to keep in mind - the configuration of the browser will determine whether the MP3 plays directly in the browser window or brings up the download dialog box. I have QuicktimePro and my browser starts playing the MP3 with Quicktime (which I can use to save the file later). I imagine different users will experience different things depending on their setup.

    Hope this helps

    Yes - you might try a ZIP file. That sounds like a better solution that will most likely download rather than open in a browser.

    Good luck!
