I Want My Multiple Document Interface!!! (Word 2000/SR1)

Is there any way to make two Word 2k documents show up USEFULLY on the same screen at the same time?

All I get is about half of my monitor real estate when I Window | Arrange All, because all of the Toolbars are duplicated.

Is there some switch to throw -- or macro to write? -- to get the good old Office97 (or Excel 2000!) method of letting you use the same Toolbar set over a number of Word documents?

Does Office 2002 let us do this, or has this ability been forever "featured" out of existence?

You're not alone. XP (or 2002) has a switch for this, 2000 does not. There is a template available that makes it happen, and some are very happy with it.

That's quite a thread you pointed me to, Van.
I thought I had searched before I shouted, but somehow missed that one...
    Thanks ever so much!
    God bless!
    Jack.
