    Outlook Macro (Office 2000)

I am trying to use a newly-created form, tailored to the company I work for, to use for new e-mail messages. This is modified from the default message form in accordance with the information gleaned from the "Using Outlook 2000" book. However, in Word, creating a new template, a one-line macro to call it and run it, and sticking it on a button on the toolbar is a the simplest thing in the world - a complete no-brainer. In Outlook - completely impossible. Unless someone here has some code that will enable me to do this. I have scoured the book, and the VBA help files to no avail. Can anybody help, please?

You can write macros in Outlook and attach them to toolbar buttons, but to create a new message using a particular template or form, that is not the easiest way to do it. See Post #166074 for more information about how to save forms and template and generate new messages using them.

Many thanks. I'll work my way through this, and see if it works OK for what I need to do.
