    Not Exactly Cooking

    Hot where you are??????
    How's about a Milkshake?????

    You need :
    A 5 cup (1.25L ) Blender
    2 cups (1/2 L) vanilla icecream
    2 raw eggs
    1 reasonably ripe banana
    Flavoring (eg: chocolate syrop)
Approximately 3 cups (750 ml) milk

Shovel the icecream into the blender
Slip the raw eggs in with the icecream (remove shells first!!!)
Pour milk to 3/4 fill the blender
Start blender at medium speed and increase to warp 3 (leave on).
Drop in banana (remove peel first) and add flavoring to suit.
Top up to brim with milk.

    Enjoy!!!! <img src=/S/cheers.gif border=0 alt=cheers width=30 height=16>

PS: All quantities are approximate. Egg shells and banana peel should be added to your compost pile for recycling.
    Seems to me I've left myself open for a few comments...... <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

    Have a Great Day!!!

Bernie is suggesting adding rum to the recipe- you're suggesting rum as am alternative to the whole recipe?

c'mon, admit it -- which would you prefer, a healthy milkshake or a tot of rum? I guess you could always blend the rum w/ice cubes & turn it into a slush.

    Re: Not Exactly Cooking

    To make Rum:

1 bag of Werther's Original, (or other rum-flavored candy)
    1 pitcher very hot water.

Place the candy into the hot water. Stir vigorously until all candy is dissolved.

    (you know, for kids...)

I don't think I'll use this one for curing a cold...

<img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15> You know, it might work better on fancy meats... hams, and such...

Or hey, give it to your teenager, and laugh as they run around like loons pretending to be drunk... <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>

    Sheeesh!!!!!

24 hours later I read my original posting and realize I never finished the recipe........
    Turn off the blender.
    Wait for whirlpool to disappear.
Pour into glasses (maybe 3 or 4 depending on size).
    Drink and enjoy.......

    Reason for forgetfulness......finished off the rum while entering my recipe!!! <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>

    Have a Great day!!!
