Open File from Form (Excel 2000)

I would like to open a file from a form with the use of a button.

How would I "shift" the focus from the form to the file and when finished with the file move the focus back to the form. The selections from the form should still be "active"

I may not be understanding what you want to do, but try changing

UserForm1.Show
    to
    UserForm1.Show vbModeless

Note -- this will not work for XL97

That is one of my problems. Some of the users are still on Excel 97. Any other ideas?

Very ugly in 97. See this post.

You may like this better. See Stephen Bullen's Excel pages for the first two downloads. HTH --Sam
