    2 personal folders (Outlook 2000)

Help. I don't know what I did, but now I have two (2) separate Personal Folders. The older, useful one that has all my information and that I have used for years, and a new, almost totally empty one. What's worse is that this new one is the default. It pops up first, and has no contacts, no appointments, etc... How do I elimate this folder, or at least change it from the default setting?

    Thank you in advance.

Re: 2 personal folders (Outlook 2000)

Move all your stuff from new personal folder to normal one.

Right-click the new one and hit CLOSE. You'll probably be asked any pertinent questions. If that won't work, close Outlook, find *.PST files on your hard drive. The big one will be your old one, the one with *today's* date will be your new one. Move it or delete it. When you open Outlook, it may ask you about it, but you should just be able to use your normal one.
